MINI

Soccer Shots Mini is a high-energy program introducing children to fundamental soccer principles, such as using your feet, dribbling and the basic rules of the game.

Through fun games, songs and positive reinforcement, children will begin to experience the joy of playing soccer and being active.

One parent or guardian is expected to join their child on the field for the session. We believe children at this age learn especially well with you closely encouraging and giving a helping hand. As the season moves on, you'll see your child's independence and confidence grow!

ATTIRE & EQUIPMENT

Your coach will provide all of the equipment needed at each of your child's sessions. Your child should wear comfortable athletic clothing and sneakers. Shin guards and cleats are optional. We recommend shin guards for the Premier group (ages 5-8). We recommend that you bring a water bottle for your child.

A welcome email with more information will be sent out seven days and one day prior to the start of the season.

From Atwood Ave, take the Walter St. entrance into the parking lot. The field will be located next to the basketball court.

MAKE-UP CLASSES & CANCELLATIONS:

  • We are unable to offer individual make-up classes. In order to provide consistency for both coaches and players at our sessions, we are unable to offer make-up sessions for individuals, we apologize for the inconvenience.
  • If a class is canceled by Soccer Shots we will make up the class as a group. Make up classes might be held on a different day or time than the regularly scheduled class.
  • There will be a maximum of two make-up weeks due to inclement weather, or heat conditions. While we can’t always predict the weather, we work hard to try to make the best decision for the children. Soccer Shots will make every effort to determine the status of class no later than 60 minutes before the scheduled start time of class, based on available hourly weather forecasts and field closures beyond our control. Soccer Shots does play during light rain. We will cancel classes due to adverse weather conditions with short notice or while class is in progress if the safety of the children is in question. If we do cancel a class, we will notify you via email and post weather updates on our website.
  • If we need to cancel a session due to the weather, we will notify you by email 60 minutes prior to the session. An update will be posted on our website at the top of our homepage. If you don't hear from us, please assume that soccer is still on.
  • Soccer Shots reserves the right to cancel any program due to low enrollment. Upon cancellation for low enrollment, a full refund will be made, including the enrollment fee.
  • Soccer Shots will work with site staff to schedule make-ups for any cancelled sessions during the season. If a make-up cannot not be offered, a credit maximum for up to two sessions will be issued to be used in a future season.

 

 

REGISTRATION FEE & JERSEYS

A non-refundable registration fee of $25.00 is due once per 365 days, per participant. The registration fee is due upon initial enrollment.

  • Youth jerseys are distributed once per year and are sent at the same time you pay your enrollment fee, regardless of the number of seasons you sign your child up for within that year. The enrollment fee is charged once every 365 days.
  • If you have not been prompted to pay your enrollment fee, you also will not be receiving a jersey for this session.

All jerseys will be shipped to participants. Jerseys are estimated to arrive in 5-7 business days from the date of enrollment.
